A Metallic Rod/Grey Skin
I had a strange, disturbing dream today. I can't remember the details perfectly, but I was at my desk, working away on projects as I usually do. There, I felt a strange sensation on my left arm, slightly above the bend of my elbow on the inside.
There was a sort of metallic/grey rod protruding out of my skin, and I could trace the outline of it down my arm, all the way down to my wrist. For whatever reason, I decided the best way to deal with this situation was to pick at/uncover the area where the rod was protruding. Rather than it being something gradual and or gruesome, there wasn't any progress at all, and then there was. It was like all the skin of my forearm fell off abruptly, and my arm still had this large metallic rod under the surface.
Rather than there being blood, fat or other tissues though, under the skin of my arm was completely grey as well. I remember panic setting in right around here, as I felt like I had made a huge mistake in uncovering this, or that I would get in trouble of some kind. And there was a sensation of bubbling/blood rising to the surface of the grey, and then I woke up.
Not sure what any of it means at all, and I wish I took some notes in bed, cause I know there was more to it, but, oh well.
